Privacy policy
Moderation data can be personal data when it identifies a player. Obsidian Watch limits public exposure while keeping evidence, review notes, and audit trails private.
The platform may store Minecraft Java UUIDs, usernames, server reports, evidence links or notes, server owner account details, API key metadata, mod check-ins, action logs, appeal messages, and audit events.
Evidence should be visible only to approved reviewers and relevant server owners. Public lookup pages should show limited summaries needed for moderation context.
Mod check-ins store a hashed IP marker for abuse diagnostics rather than a plain IP address. Avoid collecting raw IP addresses unless there is a clear operational need.
Reports, list entries, action logs, and appeals should be retained only as long as they are useful for moderation, audit, dispute handling, and abuse prevention. Entries can be expired or deactivated by admins.
Players may request review through the appeal page. Server owners and admins should correct or remove inaccurate data when evidence does not support a listing.
