Obsidian Watch is built for approved server owners who need evidence-backed moderation intelligence, controlled enforcement workflows, and private review trails.

Independent service

Obsidian Watch is independent and is not an official Minecraft, Mojang, or Microsoft service. Minecraft server owners remain responsible for their own moderation decisions.

Approved owner access

Server owners must apply and be approved before submitting reports or using API keys. Accounts, reports, and API keys may be suspended or removed if the system is abused.

Evidence requirement

Reports should include clear evidence, context, and accurate category/severity choices. False, misleading, retaliatory, or low-quality reports may be rejected and may reduce trust in the submitting server.

Server enforcement

Obsidian Watch may recommend actions, but each server chooses whether to notify, kick, or ban. Server owners are responsible for configuring and applying enforcement safely.

Appeals and corrections

Players may submit appeals or correction requests. Admins may deactivate, expire, move, or amend list entries where evidence or context changes.
